Lloyd Silvius

Lloyd Silvius was the quiet gentleman of the Eel River. An active baker, Silvius worked early and used his afternoons to chase fish. Eventually he turned his fly tying hobby into a business and opened a small fly shop in Eureka. One in a long line of great Eel River fly tiers, Lloyd picked up where his predecessors left off. His classic ‘Silver Hilton’ dressing remains a North Coast favorite.
